From the warm glow of candlelight to the vibrant burst of tropical colors, Farah and Nabeel’s destination wedding painted a vivid picture of love and luxury.

Set against the palatial grandeur of The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur, this spectacular celebration was a testament to the magic of planning and artful design. As the planners behind this magnificent union, our team at Poonam Mayank Sharma worked closely with the couple to bring their exquisite vision to life, ensuring every detail resonated with timeless elegance and royal charm.

Meet and Greet: A Shimmering Welcome

The festivities commenced with a sophisticated Meet and Greet, designed to immediately immerse guests in an atmosphere of refined luxury. We envisioned a magical setting illuminated by candlelight, crystal, and glass decor. Working alongside skilled local artisans who crafted bespoke pieces, we created striking visuals using floating candles, staggered pillar candles on handmade mirrored trays, and massive crystal balls suspended from the trees. Clear glass lanterns, a celebratory champagne tower, and a romantic floral palette of white roses, orchids, and baby's breath established a soft, chic ambiance.

Sangeet: Royal Grandeur Under the Stars

For the Sangeet, we seamlessly blended Mughal royalty with Rajput elegance. Drawing inspiration from the palace's heritage, the decor featured a regal jharokha adorned with intricate patterns, evoking the atmosphere of a royal court. We curated an opulent environment with gold-embellished seating, rich silk cushions in emerald, beige, and royal blue, and antique brassware. Thousands of warm white fairy lights cascaded from above, creating a breathtaking starlit sky effect. The warm, old-world charm was further enhanced by glowing jaali lanterns, Moroccan lamps, and a central fountain brimming with candles, rose petals, tuberoses, and jasmine.

Haldi: A Vibrant Tropical Escape

The Haldi ceremony provided a joyful, spirited contrast with a bright and tropical theme. We curated a vibrant setting centered around hand-crafted woolen sunflowers and striking flamingo sculptures. The color palette was a lively mix of turmeric yellows, playful pinks, and corals, accented by deep blues and turquoise inspired by the traditional Turkish ceramic pots we used for fresh floral arrangements. Mediterranean touches of olive branches and eucalyptus complemented hand-painted fabrics featuring sparrows and doves, resulting in a space that felt both wonderfully artistic and romantic.

The Wedding: A Symphony in Crimson and Pearl

The grand finale was a masterclass in timeless romance and opulence. We designed a luxurious setting built upon lush red florals—velvety roses, cascading orchids, and red baby's breath—symbolizing deep devotion. These rich crimson blooms were elegantly intertwined with shimmering pearl strands and golden foliage. To heighten the regal atmosphere, we incorporated grand chandeliers, suspended crystals, and intricate pearl ceilings. The inclusion of delicate glass doves hovering above, reflecting the soft candlelight and mirrored accents, added an ethereal, fairytale quality to Farah and Nabeel's unforgettable ceremony.
